The designer Ema Takahashi was born in Japan. Through her years living in the major fashion cities of Tokyo and New York, she is influenced by her inherent Japanese aesthetic, as well as the dynamic culture of New York City. After she graduated from F.I.T. in NY, she worked at her favorite designer Lisa Jenks, and started her own collection several years later. In 2011, she also started another new collection gem4. Her jewely is mostly made with gold, silver with semi-precious stones and diamonds.
